“There’s more to me than my quirkiness, sense of humor, awesome specs, and cats.”

Dear Reader,

Living with a chronic illness has forced me to accumulate a lot of information about, well, a lot of things. It has also forced me to make many adjustments in my life, including acceptance of the fact that I will always be a four-eyed lady. Because of my experiences I can provide tips for almost any subject (except sports, although I can certainly tell you what NOT to do in the gym or on the field). I can also tell you what not to do in the dating world because, unfortunately, I have probably done it all. (Here’s a preview: What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. You really don’t want to know, do you?)

There’s more to me than my quirkiness, sense of humor, awesome specs, and cats (although let’s be real, the cats are the star of the show). Because of my medical idiosyncrasies and gift of gab, I not only learned a lot of stuff about health and what data can tell us about health, but I learned how to advocate to make sure that we can access the resources we need to survive. It started out as a necessary evil but has now morphed into a way of life. I’m here to join up with other advocates to change how the world sees us, how we see ourselves, and how we become the best version of ourselves.

Whatever brings you here, I promise that you can always count on me to have an opinion about something or a story to tell.

Love,
Fab4Eyes
